Grisaia no Meikyuu is the sequel and to Grisaia no Kajitsu, with the second season, Grisaia no Rakuen, beginning right after. Grisaia no Meikyuu will be releasing as one hour special that takes place about a year after Yuuji's arrival at Mihama, where he unexpectedly decides to pursue promotion within CIRS.

This begins the investigation of submitted documents for review that contain information about Yuuji's past.

Grisaia no Rakuen will take places right after the Grisaia no Meikyuu special, picking up immediately right after the events which take place in the special.

Yuuji's current position at the start of the season has him facing situations that involve an international terrorist organization, the Mihama Academy is suffering from financial problems, and the girls of Mihama have to decide whether to save the man that changed their lives.

All of these situations revolve around Yuuji and the new system deep within the CIRS, as the girls of Mihama work together to go against the system, with the help from a mysterious individual known as Thanatos.
